- Wooden handle, wound with a copper wire and lower with a band of the same metal which covers it entirely. Tuft of black hairs, still adhering to the skin. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical in 2023.
