- Description:
- The tip has the shape of a very elegant leaf, with a fairly pronounced midrib. The socket is decorated at both ends with three hollow stripes which go around it. The iron foot is ornate where it fits the wood in the same way as the socket, is flattened along almost its entire length. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
