- Secretary desk in the Louis XVI style in solid walnut and walnut veneer. A Scribanne chest of drawers, the lower part of which has three drawers and a sloping hinged desktop, while the upper part opens to reveal two doors. It is topped with a straight cornice. The front corners are carved into fluted columns resting on spindle-shaped legs. The solid walnut frame is embellished with a wealth of contrasting wood marquetry. Discreet carvings underline the mouldings: a rais-de-coeur frieze on the cornice and panels, braided ribbons and acorn and flower scrolls on the jambs.
