- Made up of a small bottle-shaped calabash, partly covered in tin. A leather lid is held on the side of the snuff box by a small leather strap. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
