Tomorrow's kitchen unit "Blossom"
before 2013Ebony; GoldHeight (H): 106.5 cm
This kitchen module was presented at the Luxembourg stand of the 2007 exhibition The Big 5. International Building & Construction Show in Dubai. The module exhibited at the MNAHA is a unique luxury prototype made of Macassar ebony and gold leaf for a set of modules that were then produced in series and made of less precious materials. In a way, this type of kitchen represents the culmination of a desire for mobility: it consists of a number of modules, each containing various kitchen functions (hotplates, oven, sink, etc.) mounted on wheels to make them more easily movable, allowing its users to cook almost anywhere.
