- Ball-shaped; Comprising 19 pieces, consisting of a lid with two notches serving as a grip, four bowls, a soup tureen, a vegetable dish, a dinner plate, four dinner plates, a large deep dish, a small deep dish, four soup bowls and a salad bowl; Painted polychrome decoration; Lid grip in turquoise blue with stylised Earth in the centre; On the rim, inscription in black with coloured touches: ‘einmal um die Welt - einmal um die Welt’; Twelve stylised children from all nations; Green band with crown of red circles; Two continuous blue and two yellow fillets (formed by the edge of the plates); Inscription in black with coloured touches: ‘Amerika Asien Europa Australien Afrika’; Yellow band with twelve sloping blue and white bars; Underneath, green colour fading downwards; White cotton net to carry the service; Limited edition of 250 to mark the 250th anniversary of Villeroy & Boch; Reissue of the 1971 service.
