Lady Diana Manners (1892-1986) was an English aristocrat and socialite. After World War I, she became an actress, appearing in films and on stage. Edward Steichen portrayed Lady Diana Manners in her role as the Madonna in the play The Miracle, a wordless mystery play set in the Middle Ages. Steichen’s portrait was published in Vanity Fair in February 1926.
