Tito Conti was an Italian painter who trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence from 1855 to 1866. He specialised in historical genre painting and portraits of women. Besides several exhibitions in Italy, Conti also presented his works in Berlin, Munich and, between 1874 and 1884, annually at the Royal Academy in London. From 1896, Conti was a professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.
