- Description:
- Fireback with various scenes. The scenes are separated in the middle by a Corinthian column. At the edges, a bearded man in drapery, his arms crossed, stands on a plinth carried by a child or a dwarf. To the left, a draped woman looks into a mirror. This may be the goddess Venus, who was often depicted with a mirror. On the right, a woman holding a sword and scales. This is Justice. The two women are framed. Justice is standing under a bow. Below the women, the date 1576 is inscribed.
