- Made of an iron wire wound into the shape of a cylinder; at both ends the iron wire is additionally wound with a very thin copper wire; a row of glass beads joins the two ends of the wire on the outside. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
