- Leather strap intended to surround the head, carrying a thick tuft, formed by a fairly wide strip of leather rolled up on itself and coming from the mane of a lion. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
