- Arched handle. On the neck, five mascarons in an oval. On the belly, the story of the ‘Prodigal Son’. Seven arches, five of which represent the story of the ‘Prodigal Son’, according to the Gospel of Luke. Inscriptions in relief on the arches: [HI]STORIA VON DEM VERLOREN SOHN WIE SANT LVDASDA VON DVT S__RISEN 1618 IM CHRIST MON [last letter N inverted]. Below the lower attachment of the handle, a round medallion surrounded by a line of pearls and containing a knight firing his firearm. At the bottom, alternating wide and narrow vertical grooves. Decorated in cobalt blue.
