- Description:
- Kilindo, bark box for preserving fabrics With lid, all painted red and black. The box has an almost cylindrical shape. The different parts are sewn together using a rush or very smooth bark. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
