- Cylindrical shape. Upper part tapering. Straight rim. Four arched openings in the wall. Groove at the lower and upper edges of the wall openings. Matt brown-orange glaze speckled with dark brown. This trough is listed in the SELM catalogue under the heading “Ordinary pottery” and is described as a “tall pigeon trough”. (catalogue item no. 91)
