- Description:
- Three scenes with the devil are depicted. In the first scene, Jesus drives out the devil. Inscription: PACK•DICH• / TEVFEL•IN / INTRVM. In the second scene, the devil attempts to seduce men with power, wealth and the satisfaction of human needs. Material objects are symbolically placed on a tree and three figures attempt to remove them. Jesus, axe in hand, cuts down the tree. Three inscriptions: DROITIA / LAITIS. IN NO / MINE. DAS•VNKRVT / WIL•ICH•AVS / RODDEN•VN / WEREEN•ES / INS FEVR. In the third scene, these three figures have become a monster (dragon/serpent).
