POT-HANGERS AND OTHER
HOUSEHOLD UTENSILS
Different types of pot-hangers, with popular deco-
ration, with hooks and with handles. Notice the
Gothic pot-hanger (1547) from the kitchen of the
castle of Vianden. Waffle irons and host iron (15
to 18° centuries).
GREAT KITCHEN (18/1 9% century)
Rotating pot-hanger (1806) from the castle of Ever-
'ange, andirons, small kettles, etc. Folding-bench,
kneading-trough, cupboard with glazed doors in
its upper part, in which earthenware plates and
dishes (Boch and Lamort; see 2"? floor, rooms 46
and 47) are exhibited.
LOUIS XV DINING-ROOM (18 century)
Wooden panels (about 1750) in the local Louis XV
style. Cabinet with two glazed cupboard doors.
Cartel clock (2"d half of the 18 century).
REGENCE AND LOUIS XV FURNITURE

Leather tapestry (about 1730) from the former
abbey of Echternach. Wardrobes, cabinet with two
glazed cupboard doors, table and armchairs of the
18% century. Astronomical grandfather’s clock

the minutes and the seconds as well as the date
and the phases of the moon. Portraits of the Em-
