For this exhibition, the State Museums selected the artists who best illustrated the trends that Luxembourg art had experienced from impressionism to irrealism and abstraction. The catalogue thus includes Jean-Pierre Beckius (1899-1946), Berthe Brincour (1879-1947), Nico Klopp (1894-1930), Joseph Kutter (1894-1941), Dominique Lang (1874-1919), Frantz Seimetz (1858-1934), Michel Stoffel (1903-1963), Auguste Trémont (1892-1980) and Sosthène Weis (1872-1941).
