Accessibility
This page presents our commitment to web accessibility and defines the level of compliance of this website with the applicable regulations and standards.
What is web accessibility/eAccesibility?
“Web accessibility” or “eAccessibility” refers to the functional, graphical, technical and editorial design of web content according to applicable standards and best practices. Compliance with these standards and practices ensures that digital media (websites, mobile applications, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible to people with disabilities.
An accessible website, for example, offers the possibility to:
- customize its display via the operating system and/or the browser (increase or decrease the font size, change fonts, change colours, stop animations, etc.);
- navigate the pages using assistive technologies such as screen readers or Braille displays;
- navigate without a mouse, i.e. using only the keyboard, special input devices or a touchscreen;
- view videos and audio content with subtitles and/or transcriptions.
Our commitment to web accessibility
The "Musée national d'archéologie, d'histoire et d'art (MNAHA)" is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the loi du 28 mai 2019 relative à l'accessibilité des sites internet et des applications mobiles des organismes du secteur public (Law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies).
Several teams are involved in the functional and graphic design, development, support, etc. to ensure that our websites and mobile applications are as accessible as possible.

Compliance status
This website is only partially compliant with the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 and its implementing framework RGAA (Référentiel Général d'Amélioration de l'Accessibilité) – version 4.1.2, due to the non-conformities listed below.
The first evaluation of compliance with the requirements of RGAA version 4.1.2 was carried out by Ideance in March 2024.

The evaluation revealed that the content of the iFrame "Sketchfab" has some accessibility deficiencies. However, the URL of this service is outside the scope of this evaluation. This service should be subject to a separate evaluation to determine its own compliance status.
