- Description:
- Made of a piece of wood hollowed out inside, it takes the shape of a cylinder which gradually narrows towards the middle of the height, where there is a handle made from the same piece of wood as the drum. One end is covered with skin, the other is not. Decorated with alternately light brown and black triangles. - Descriptive inventory by Nicolas Van Werveke of the Spring ethnographic collection. N.B.: this is a faithful transcription of Van Werveke's inventory, the terms used in 1898 have not been modified, even those whose use is considered critical today.
