- Description:
- Recess with six doors and two drawers; In the centre, clock case with glazed door extending downwards into a solid door concealing drawers; Less high but wider side panels forming obtuse angles with the clock and having two superimposed valances separated by a mobile shelf with two small handles; Plain solid valances with moulded edges; Crosspiece dividing the valances with raised curves, symmetrically arranged towards the centre; Overhanging cornice with very deep groove, recessed on the rounded outer corners and on all the other corner cuts; discreet pendant in the lower crosspiece; scrolled feet; clock in a case crowning the piece of furniture, set slightly back and flanked by two volutes; on the clock, four six-pointed stars in relief around a double dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, in the centre two holes for the winding mechanism and above, chased inscription: J C / * Brembt * / A Luxembourg
