Convertible children's chair
after 1910 - around 1960H x L x P: 100 x 51.5 x 55 cm
A wooden children's chair. The seat can be raised to the front using two hinges on the front legs. It can be turned over by 180 degrees to create a small table with a chair attached on wheels.
In the centre of the table is painted a scene with 4 people carrying wooden sticks and in the centre of the scene is a car (early 20th century type). The people and the car are surrounded by white and brown cows with brown and black spots.
At the top centre of the design is a mark ‘Naether's Schutzmarke’. On either side of the table is a metal bar to which are attached multicoloured wooden elements for playing or counting. Mark on the footrest, but shows signs of use and is no longer completely legible.
