Chinese Porcelain from the Butler Collections - Late Ming

Chinese Porcelain from the Butler Collections - Late Ming

27.06.2008 - 14.09.2008

Thanks to a generous loan from Sir Michael Butler and his family, the MNHA is able to present the world's first exhibition of Chinese porcelain made in non-imperial kilns and dating exclusively from the late Ming Dynasty (1600-1644). The exhibition at the MNHA brings together one hundred porcelains, more than half of which have never before been shown to the public. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a series of thirty pieces from the last ten years of the Ming Dynasty.
