The exhibition is organised by the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts and the MNHA. It presents the career of a universal and exceptional sovereign of late medieval Europe, as well as the most outstanding works of art of the international Gothic period. It features a large number of portraits of Sigismund of Luxembourg, placed in context and surrounded by works of art from the residence of the most significant Central European sovereign of his time.
